DAY 27 — I DON’T THINK INSTAGRAM IS RIGGED. I THINK THE BRAND IS SPLIT. šŸ”„

Today’s roast: Alvin Bows | 5-9 > 9-5

Alvin’s been asking creators what he’s doing wrong, and after looking through the content, I think there are really only two things I’d fix:

1. Stop splitting the audience.
Multiple accounts, multiple directions, multiple versions of the brand.
Bring it all under one umbrella:
Alvin building a better life outside the 9-to-5.
Business. Lifestyle. Self-improvement. Relationships. Content.
It can all fit if the story is clear.
2. Stop over-editing and start overthinking the IDEA instead.
Better cameras and cleaner edits won’t save a weak hook.
Before you spend an hour editing the Reel, spend more time asking:
ā€œWould this make somebody stop scrolling?ā€
That’s where the growth starts.

J2 SCORE: 7.6/10

Alvin Bows | 5-9 > 9-5 — you asked the content people what they thought.

There’s my take.

DAY 26 — YOU DON’T NEED MORE CONTENT. YOU NEED A CLEARER BRAND. šŸ”„
Today’s roast: j_flagg

This account has plenty going for it.
Firefighter.
Fitness.
Running.
Family.
Financial independence.

That’s not the problem.
The problem is making all of those pieces feel like they belong to one clear story.
Because when someone lands on your page, they shouldn’t have to connect the dots themselves.

The opportunity here is huge: build the brand around helping firefighters become stronger physically, mentally, and financially — then let everything else support that message.

J2 SCORE: 7.1/10
The experience is there.
The story is there.
The credibility is there.
Now tighten the message and make the whole account easier to understand in five seconds.

DAY 25 — STOP POSTING 4 STORIES. START TELLING 1. šŸ”„
Today’s roast: Gritty Pulse
This account doesn’t have a ā€œtoo many nichesā€ problem.
It has a connection problem.
Fitness.
Hashimoto’s.
Dad life.
Travel volleyball.
Family.
Those can all work together — if they feel like chapters of the same story instead of five separate accounts fighting for attention.

The biggest opportunity here is to make the brand clearer, tighten the visual packaging, and lean harder into the one thing nobody else can copy:
His actual life.

J2 SCORE: 6.7/10
There’s already personality here. There’s already an audience here.
Now it’s about turning all the pieces into one recognizable brand.

ROASTING MY FOLLOWERS UNTIL I HIT 75K šŸ”„ | DAY 24

Today’s victim: Mindfully Janae

The content is there. The personality is there. The problem? Right now the page feels more like a personal wellness journal than an account built to make a stranger hit FOLLOW.

The biggest fixes:
Make the bio about the person landing on the page, simplify the content packaging, and tighten the message so people immediately know what they’re going to get.

J2 SCORE: 5.9/10 šŸ”„

Not a bad account at all — it just needs clearer positioning so the right people know why they should stick around.

You have about five seconds to make somebody understand your profile.

Not five minutes.

Can they tell who the account is for?

Can they tell what they will get by following?

Is there enough proof or personality to make them care?

And is the next action obvious?

If somebody has to study your page to figure out what you do, you are making growth harder than it needs to be.

**Save this and run your own profile through the 5-second test.**

Posting consistently is great.

But consistency by itself does not make people stop, care, follow, or buy.

If your content is not growing, check these three things before blaming the algorithm:
1. Is the hook strong enough to stop the scroll?
2. Is the post specific enough that the right person instantly knows it is for them?
3. Does your profile make it obvious why they should follow once they click over?

Fix those three things for your next five posts and then look at the results.

**Comment GROWTH** if you want more practical breakdowns like this.
