Same chic + same cut

Pictured above is the same geometric shape, pixie cut or triangle with graduation posteriorly and layers from the parietal ridge to crown. The difference is one was curated with chemicals (relaxer) and heat formed curls with a curling iron. The second is Genetically Curated Curls (parents) cured with heat from a hood dryer.

Honestly, I don’t miss the root touchups or the chemical burns from relaxers. Actually, wearing my curls provides and opportunity for versatility that having relaxed hair didn’t provide.

Mirror, mirror on the wall who is the curliest of them all?

Gazing in the mirror contemplating my day and preparing to receive my clients, I decided to capture a moment. Yep, I love red… It’s vibrant, bold and accentuates my heavily melinated skin exquisitely.

Red evokes confidence, power, courage, passion, determination and excitement, to note a few.

With that understood, some you Ladies are unable to conceptualize how you’ll appear wearing your natural curls or which curly contour perfectly suits you. Oftentimes, I implement chromotherapy. Sometimes, it’s obvious and others, it’s subtle.
The intent is to set the atmosphere for a creative curl fest! I want you Ladies to be just as excited, energetic and passionate about wearing your Genetically Curated Curls.

It’s the wisdom attached to the curls for me! Ms Zella visited me after gazing upon her daughter ‘s beautifully dense silver curls. Honestly speaking, bell bottoms (wide leg pants), music (remixes) they’re all cyclical.

Ms Zella remembers curls…. Her generation called it an Afro. Our generation references as natural hair. My point is the young are influencing our elders to wear their geneticallycurated curls. I love to see it!!
