Dermablading, also known as dermaplaning, is a technique that rapidly exfoliates your skin by removing the fine velus facial hairs (aka peach fuzz) without the need for any chemicals or products.

With dermablading, our aestheticians uses a medical-grade stainless steel blade to apply delicate pressure, removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells along with your peach fuzz. After gently shaving the outermost layer, your skin will be smooth and clean, a perfect canvas for makeup application. Dermablading can also soften visible signs of aging as well as surface pigmentation.

The smooth skin that results from the dermablading process will last for several weeks.

Kimberly Mathews is is a licensed aesthetician who graduated from The Beauty Institute of Memphis in 2002. Kimberly has extensive experience providing facial treatments including European facials, microdermabrasion, Ultrasound, Oxygen and lymphatic drainage. She is certified by PCA in administering chemical peels and has received specialized training in the use of the Pevonia skin care line. Kimberly also provides waxing services and is known for her meticulous attention to detail.

Sonek Ferrell is the founder of Sonek’s Day Spa. Mrs. Ferrell studied Cosmetology and Medical Aesthetics in the Scandinavian region of Europe, and she is a graduate of Denmark’s Yonna School of Cosmetology. She is a skilled professional therapist specializing in women’s skin care. She is a certified laser aesthetician and has 15 years of experience using laser techniques to treat conditions from pigment lesions to vascular lesion and hair removal.
