I’m TAV, and I didn’t create Art of the Misfits just to produce another photoshoot. I created it for every artist who has ever been told they were doing too much, thinking too big, dressing too differently, or refusing to follow the formula.

Because I was never meant to fit into this industry.
I was meant to disrupt it.

I’m an innovator. A trendsetter. A creative director. A lash artist who refuses to believe lashes should begin and end with a basic set. I turn fibers into characters, faces into canvases, and ideas into entire worlds.

This campaign represents individuality, neurodivergence, rebellion, fashion, diversity, and the freedom to create without asking permission. Every Misfit was chosen to show that what makes you different is exactly what makes you unforgettable.

And that is what The Lash Underground is all about.

It’s bigger than lashes. It’s where beauty collides with streetwear, anime, rockstar energy, graffiti, photography, fashion, education, and unapologetic self-expression. It’s a home for artists who color outside the lines, then redesign the entire page. We are not chasing trends down here…
