Outside of doing loc knot Bobs I absolutely love doing lock petals. I think it’s one of the easiest beautiful things to do to your locs. Pedals can elevate any style and it just brings a touch of class to a ponytail.

Have you worn loc petals before? Do you feel your hair is not long enough to do pedals if so, you can always do soft locks into a pedal bun and use that as a ponytail.

All I’m gonna say is starter Locs definitely can be washed and if you don’t feel confident enough to shampoo them yourself get your loctician to shampoo them for you..

One thing I know y’all be weird 🤔with y’all clients about shampooing them baby Locs.. No shade 🌳

Make sure your doing your best to reduce the amount of lint that gets into
your Locs.. Unlike products lint cannot be shampooed out. If you do find yourself with lint you can either cut the end’s that have lint or dye your hair to mask it.

Once lint gets trapped it’s close to impossible to remove it unless you cut it out. Brush your Locs with a soft brush after putting on cotton shirts and sweaters.

If you’re rocking Locs or even if you want to start Locs you have to remember to be fearless. Locs are a beautiful form of self expression and every sets is as unique as it’s owner.

The biggest tip when it comes to Locs is believe in what your hair can accomplish and don’t get caught up on a certain kinda look. The beautiful thing about Locs is that each set is tailored to each owner. Everyone’s journey is different and you shouldn’t aspire to look like anyone but you.

Make sure your watering your crop so it grows. Lock in that moisture with a light oil and enjoy the very essence of you!!

🚫 You wanna make sure that your sealing your moisturize in with an oil and not just oiling your hair dry.. Oil is a sealant not a hydrater.
