🙌🏾Wow! Thank you to those that liked and shared my post! Just yesterday I made a post about how the Lord laid on my heart to serve a 10 to 16 year old female. I’m hoping to really help this age group understand how to manage and care for their own hair. Because of the schedule the Lord has blessed me to be able to create, I’m generally not able to serve this age group as I’m closed evenings and Saturdays, so it really felt good to be able to do this today.
Some of you already know I give back to female youth and female youth groups, but I wanted to be able to do something in the salon on today, a random Saturday, a day that the Lord has blessed me to be off from the salon for more than 10 years. I’m truly grateful.
I’m truly truly grateful to have been able to serve this 10 year-old and be able to educate her and Mom on how to manage as well as recreate these curls we did today.
We were able to detox and treat her hair for a balance of strength and moisture retention, and really show her the potential of her curls as she’s never really worn her curls. Mom generally blow dries her hair and puts it in two strand twists.
I’m truly excited to see the progression of confidence this young lady gains as she learns to manage and care for her hair…. and if the Lord lays it on my heart, this could be a continual thing on a random Saturday!! 😀🙌🏾

Now for those of you who know me, you know that I’m generally not in the salon on Saturdays, but the Lord dropped something in my heart a moment ago, and what a perfect time to give it out. My client is 70+ years young and has strong, shiny, manageable hair. I’ve served her for almost 15 years. We’ve transitioned from relaxed hair to unrelaxed hair. She follows my recommendations and strives to keep her hair healthy.
