Hi friends, and good evening. ❤️

I’ve been sitting with this message for quite some time, and it’s certainly not an easy one to write. After a lot of reflection, soul- searching, and many heartfelt conversations, I’m finally ready to share something that has been weighing on my heart.

When I first stepped away for my sabbatical, I wasn’t sure exactly what it would bring. I thought I would simply enjoy a little time to rest and recharge. Instead, I discovered something much deeper. I’ve loved every single second of this time away, and I’ve realized that my heart has been longing for this for quite a while. My body and my soul have been quietly telling me that I needed this change, and for the first time in a long time, I listened.

This decision hasn’t been easy because leaving this career also means stepping away from so many incredible people. Somewhere along the way, you stopped being “clients.” You became friends…and many of you became family. You have walked beside me through some of the biggest milestones of my life, celebrating the highs and carrying me through the lows. Your kindness, encouragement, laughter, and unwavering support have meant more to me than you’ll ever know.

I will never be able to put into words how grateful I am. Thank you for being my rock when I needed strength. Thank you for listening when I needed an ear. Thank you for sharing your lives with me and allowing me to be a small part of your stories. Most of all, thank you for your years of loyalty, trust, and support. Please know that it has never gone unnoticed or unappreciated.

Hairdressing has given me so much more than a career—it has given me lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and a community that I will always cherish. I will carry each of you with me into this next chapter.

As bittersweet as this goodbye is, I know in my heart that it’s the right one. I’m looking forward to spending more time with my family, embracing a slower pace, and seeing where this next season of life leads me.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing me to do what I loved for so many years. It has truly been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

Summer hours,

With a full heart, I want to share that I’ll be taking a sabbatical from hairdressing beginning June 1 and plan to return on September 3rd.
This decision has not come easy, because this career has been so much more than “just hair” to me. Over the years, so many of you have become such a meaningful part of my life. You’ve supported me, encouraged me, trusted me, and loved me through so many seasons, and I will never be able to fully express how much that has meant to me.
Lately, my heart has been pulling me toward home, family, and the parts of life that move far too quickly. My kids are growing up faster than I can believe, and I feel such a strong need to be present for this season while I have it. I’m also taking this time to pour into myself, my marriage, my family, and the future my husband and I are building together.
This time away is something I truly feel I need — to rest, to reset, to grow, and to be intentional with the people and priorities that matter most to me right now.
Please know this isn’t goodbye — just a pause. I already know I’ll miss all of you more than you know. Thank you for being such a special part of my life and career. Your love, loyalty, and support have meant the world to me, and I carry so much gratitude for each of you.
I’m so thankful for your understanding and support during this time, and I look forward to seeing you again when I return in September.
