A tranquil seaside retreat nestled among the trees. Watch the whales frolic among the waves on their annual pilgrimage to the South.
Luxuriate in the soothing fog as it slowly envelopes the landscape. Laugh at the antics of the wild turkeys as they spread their wings. Do all this and more from here; an 1,800 square foot home situated next to the water's edge. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, an office, a gourmet kitchen, a great room with floor to ceiling windows that bring the incredible beauty in. And a deck where you can BBQ, or just sit by the fire pit watching the sun set.
This was taken a couple weeks ago - yes, that is hail at the ocean's edge - beauty in the midst of chaos.
The faintest of clouds hover above the waves like ghostly apparitions - teasing, taunting - and just as quickly, they call in reinforcements and clouds, grey, ghostly blanket the horizon and move in to obscure the shoreline.

The moon is half full tonight - just sitting outside on the deck watching the flames of the fire pit dance in rhythm to the crashing storm surf - the fog is hesitantly gliding in with the waves - surprisingly not cold, just a hint of cool air in between the teasing caresses from the fire pit - all is calm - feels good to breathe
This is the first time I've seen the waves come in from the South - incredible multitude shades of blue and green in the ocean -peaceful, gentle - clouds in soft shades of gray from the rains, hints of blue and white here and there as the morning sun begins to take control - whales are still migrating, must be harder to go against the current or do they care?

There is frost on the ground; the moon is full on the horizon as it gently sets for the day and the whales are migrating South, moving at a good clip. The ocean is still agitated but no longer storm surf.
