We talk a lot about listening to your body around here and I’m listening to mine.

Healing isn’t just something I encourage—it’s something I have to practice myself.

Being a massage therapist is incredibly rewarding, but it’s also physically demanding. Every massage, every treatment, and every client is meaningful, and this work asks a lot of both the body and the heart.

Taking time to rest isn’t a luxury—it’s part of being able to continue showing up as my very best for each of you. So I’ll be taking a week to slow down, recharge, and refill my own cup.

I’ll be away July 3rd–11th and will return refreshed and ready to welcome you back beginning Monday, July 14th.

Thank you for your understanding, your continued support, and for allowing me to do what I love every day. I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

When we began planning our Community Blood Drive, our goal was simple:

🩸 12 units of blood.

Yesterday, thanks to an incredible handful of people, we reached that goal!

Because of your generosity, those 12 units have the potential to impact up to **36 lives**.

Thirty-six people.
Thirty-six families.
Thirty-six reasons why showing up matters.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared our posts, encouraged friends and family, and helped make our first Community Blood Drive a success.

As we kick off our **10 Years of Healing • 1 Year Giving Back** campaign, I couldn't think of a better way to begin than by helping provide something that saves lives every single day.

One of my favorite moments was seeing familiar faces and the next generation stepping up to donate. ❤️ Because let's be honest...Whether it's a surgery, an accident, a medical emergency, or a zombie apocalypse, blood is one of those things you never think about until someone desperately needs it. 🧟‍♀️🩸

Because of you, it will be there when they do.

This was just the beginning. We have already scheduled our next one for September 1st.

Meet our friend Jen. She will be joining us Saturday for massage or reiki💜💜💜. Jen Jackson, LMT, Reiki Master Teacher is the founder of Essential Wellness Collective / Embody Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, Mendota, Il.

With 20+ years in energy work, massage therapy and a background in exercise physiology, Jen blends integrative massage, Reiki, reflexology, and gentle craniosacral-inspired methods to reduce pain and regulate the nervous system. Her sessions emphasize listening, presence, and practical home care so results last beyond the table.
