Meet Stacy and Esprit! Stacy is a Mental Health Therapist in our Behavioral Health Clinic and Esprit is a Facility Dog working with Stacy who was trained and placed by Helping Paws. Facility Dogs can be seen working in a variety of job settings such as mental health clinics/facilities, like Esprit is here. They can also be seen working in legal facilities, courtrooms, group homes, police and fire departments, to name a few more. Facility Dogs work with clients on an individual basis and also in some group settings. Facility Dogs are highly trained prior to placement to respond to the clients in their job setting, which differs from a therapy dog, who is a pet dog trained by their owner. Esprit is a welcomed member of our team here at Dunn County.

It was an absolute blast working at the tent this past weekend for the MN Ren Fair and getting to meet new artists and fairgoers. I'm kinda kicking myself thay I didn't have anyone take a picture of my outfits though 😅
