Did you know that soap bars you get at grocery stores are not actual soap but detergent.

People dont really think about their skin as much as they should and then they wonder why the have dry skin all year round. because in liquid and bar soaps from the store they dont use the good stuff. They give you that silk soft feeling for a day then you feel dry and/ or oily a day later. Its the ingredients they use to make you come back for that silk touch that fades just as fast as the "soap bar"

Use a true bar of soap and you can see and feel the difference between the two. Soaps created by oils, water, and sodium hydroxide. Are the best for your skin and can be easily modified to suit your skin's needs.

They also last longer! One bar from the grocery store could last a month while a handmade cold process soaps could last 2 months or longer depending if you let dry properly away from the stream of water. They also dont become a goopy mess.
