For many patients, skin tightening can be a meaningful part of caring for the body they have worked so hard to support, especially when certain areas no longer reflect how strong, healthy, or confident they feel.

After her significant weight-loss journey, our beautiful patient wanted to address visible laxity, crepey texture, and a loss of firmness through her upper arms. Her goal was tighter, smoother-looking skin and an improved contour.

Skin laxity is influenced by many factors, including age, genetics, sun exposure, natural collagen and elastin loss, and changes in body volume. After weight loss, the skin may need additional support, particularly when its elasticity has naturally decreased over time.

During her consultation, we evaluated skin quality and elasticity, the location and degree of laxity, the underlying tissue, and what could realistically be improved without surgery.

Because her concerns and expectations aligned with what a non-surgical skin-tightening treatment could provide, we created a customized XERF treatment plan for her arms.

XERF delivers monopolar radiofrequency energy to multiple depths beneath the skin. This creates an immediate tissue-contraction response while stimulating the longer process of collagen remodeling to support firmer, smoother-looking skin over time.

These photos were taken before and immediately after her first treatment. Even after a single session, we can already see visible tissue contraction through the inner and lower upper arm, with reduced folding, improved contour, and smoother-looking skin.

This is the first step in her planned treatment series. Her skin will continue remodeling over the coming weeks and months as new collagen develops, and we’re so excited to follow her progress!
