Some of you already know and some of you don’t. My grandpa passed away Thursday night, at the age of 94. I was able to be by his side and say my goodbyes. He was diagnosed with cancer two weeks ago and went down hill from there. I’m glad he a no longer in pain. He lived a long life full of adventures with friends and family. He was loved by many, and will be missed by all. His love for my grandma was a love i wish id have some day and always admired. I know he’s missed my grandma every day for the past 23 years and now he will be with her. I was told he use to sing this song to her before they got married. Due to his passing, my availability will be limited so that I can grieve with family and help with his funeral. I’ll know more about his service, tomorrow. I will be at work Monday and Tuesday this week and possibly Saturday. If you have any questions, feel free to message me. Thank you everyone for your understanding.

How my day started vs how it’s going. So some of you know and many don’t. I had a stroke yesterday. It came out of no where. But, I am doing better today. I’m current sitting in ICU waiting to see what the dr wants to do. I’ve had two CT scans and an MRI in the past 24 hours. Thanks to and , I’m still alive. I was able to get the help/meds I needed. I had 30 mins left before i would no longer be able to receive the meds needed to break up the blood clot in my brain and save me. Mallary, I cannot begin to thank you enough for yesterday. I’m so sorry things happened the way it did. But thank you so much for staying level headed and doing what needed to be done. including my nails 🤣🤣. Zachary, I’m sorry for scaring you the way I did. Thank you for staying with me all night even though you were exhausted, starving and uncomfortable. and James, Thank you for coming by and checking on us. And thank you everyone else that called, messaged and reached out to my kids. I really appreciate it. I will keep you all updated on what’s happening. As of now, I have no paralysis or difficulty speaking. I’m just very weak and tired. ☺️

One of my clients lost everything in the 2023 Lahaina, HI fires. I’ve been doing her hair since she moved here. The other day she told me she wanted to try something new with her style, but wasn’t sure. I told her to trust me because I know exactly how i wanted to style her hair. When i showed her the finished style, she was so happy and told me how she had been so depressed and hasn’t felt good since the fires. She said she couldn’t wait to show all her friends her hair and how I made her feel pretty again. 🥹. THIS is why I do what I do. I’m not in it for the money. I love helping others feel beautiful and help bring back their confidence and self esteem.
