Here’s the full process: fresh brows immediately after your first appointment → fully healed at 6 weeks → immediately after your 6-week touch-up.

This is why I always tell my clients to trust the process. Brows can look bold at first, fade during healing, and then come back beautifully once everything has settled.

Permanent makeup makes your morning routine easier, but it doesn’t mean your brows are completely maintenance-free. 🤍

One of the biggest things I remind my PMU clients is to continue cleaning up the natural brow hairs that grow outside of their permanent makeup shape.

Your nano brows, combo brows, or microblading create the foundation, while your natural brow hairs continue to grow as normal. Keeping those extra hairs tweezed, waxed, or trimmed helps maintain a clean, polished shape between appointments.

And then there’s annual touch ups or annual color boost appointments.

PMU is designed to gradually soften and fade over time. Depending on your skin, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare routine, and how your brows heal, you may benefit from an annual color boost/touch-up to refresh the pigment and keep your brows looking beautiful.

Think of your PMU as your brow foundation. It makes your routine easier, but a little maintenance keeps everything looking fresh. 🤎

Fresh 6 week touch up ✨

We don’t call this the perfecting appointment for nothing. Usually my clients come back with some feedback and I love it. Once they kind of settle in with their new brows they start looking and see some adjustments needed. And that is totally normal and what I want when you come back!

After the 6 week touch up you’re good for another 1.5 to 3 years, this is all depending on each client. Everyone is different.
