Getting a chemical service like dye or lightener, getting a perm or relaxer damages our hair..period..
Disulfide Bonds are the core strength, stability and structure of our hair.
These Chemicals open the cuticle which allows them to enter the cortex where these bonds live and begin to work. The chemicals begin to restructure the hair.
Over processing and over time
The bonds become very compromised causing the hair to become brittle, dry, weak and eventually begin to break.

Brent’s client wanted silvery/ash.. her hair wasn’t holding onto color due to previous lightnings and box dye. He went in with Olaplex to repair the broken bonds and used Kenra Porosity Equalizer.
