hey all!👋🏽 a few updates + good things to know from MJ HAIR CO on this cloudy day!☁️✨🤍

1. effective november 1st most of my haircut prices will rise + the some of my services will be restructured - can’t thank my clients enough for the support I’ve gotten over the years as well as all my willing models + clients who have helped me grow in bettering your experience in my chair + my skills! any pre booked appointments before november 1st will not be affected and previous pricing will be honored. stay tuned to www.mjhairco.com for all the upcoming info!
2. got some new branding photos + business cards how fun! can’t thank for her amazing photo + website skills.
3. over the next couple of weeks I will be posting some more info on all the add on treatments I offer! we’re talkin’ scalp spas, gloss, restorative masks, + treatments that elongate color life! stay tuned on what options could be best for you the next time you visit my chair!
4. my availability moving into the new year is slightly shifting! until further notice I will no longer be opening up fridays and in the new year I will only be working 2-3 saturdays a month along with my tuesdays + thursdays. as far as the rest of this year, yall know holiday season is just about here so that means all your service providers are starting to get full so make sure you secure your desired appointment for your holiday refresh! I only have about 3-5 color appointments left before thanksgiving and my cut/treatment availability is getting slim! I will also be out of town 12/10 - 12/17 so pre christmas options are going quickly!

as I was getting some refreshed headshots back I realized I don’t think I’ve done a “get to know ya” since I started my hair account! I’ve been seeing some new faces around these parts so I thought now would be a great time for a refresh + new intro!🤠

hey there👋🏽my name is Maddie - yes I know it can be misleading with my business named MJ HAIR CO, and yes if you so feel called to call me MJ feel free but ma friends call me maddie, family call me madds, and when I’m in a lil trouble OR doing somethin’ super cool ✨Maddie Jessie✨

some facts about me:
☁️I’ve been doin’ hair since I was about 14 or 15 getting started in the wedding industry here n’ there and styling all my friends hair for special events for fun
☁️before I decided to pursue a hair career in high school I was a big FFA kid, grew up riding horses, and raised livestock and thought I’d dive into veterinarian school. I still would love to get back into agricultural endeavors in the future!
☁️I was licensed in 2021 and started my career at a beautiful salon in gilbert I’ll forever be grateful for and then started my own business and chair in 2023 inside
☁️grew up in gilbert, AZ and met my husband at the church we grew up in. we got married and moved to AJ last spring + summer and joined a new church in queen creek that’s been amazing! (kinda obsessed with Jesus + His kingdom!)
we also have large families we adore with a precious niece and a nephew on the way we’re obsessed with!
is my better half and I’m forever grateful the Lord let our paths cross. it’s so fun to see each other grow, travel, + forever dream together🤍
☁️I used to work part time in a coffee shop all throughout high school + miss it so much☕️
☁️if I had one goal for any client that sits in my chair it would summarized as having you feel confident walking away that your ✨healthiest✨ hair days are ahead and that you feel more confident and cup filled than when you sat down!
