Prom 2026
Just a girl and a boy.
So young, so sweet, so beautiful and so handsome.
What else can I say?
My heart is full of joy and butterflies for their future.
And my eyes are overflowing with memories of a little boy that has grown up too fast. â¤ď¸
No one talks about how exhausting it is to love your clients⌠and still feel maxed out.
If youâre a hairdresser, you know.
You give energy all day.
You listen.
You stand.
You create.
You serve.
And at some point, you start thinking:
âHow do I make income that isnât tied to my hands?â
That question doesnât mean youâre ungrateful.
It means youâre growing.
I help stylists build income beyond service hours without quitting the chair.
If thatâs been on your heart, comment âBEYOND.â
âHow can I help you?â
That question lives in my heart and on the tip of my tongue.
Iâm a helper.
Always have been.
Itâs how I mother.
Itâs how I work.
Itâs how I serve.
And right now, I have to get honest with myself.
Caring for others is an honor, but doing it in a way that slowly drains your body, your time, and your future isnât sustainable.
Time behind the chair or table has a limit.
Hands get tired.
Bodies change.
And yet the calling to serve doesnât go away.
I donât ever want to stop helping people, but at the same time, I need to build something that lasts.
Something that supports my lifestyle, creates income beyond my physical effort, and allows my impact to continue long after my hands slow down.
And maybe as youâre reading this, something in you is nodding quietly.
You might not feel the toll on your body yet, but you can sense that this pace, this way of carrying everything, wonât feel good forever.
If youâre a hairdresser, aesthetician, a massage therapist or any other profession in the personal ďżźservice industry ďżźwho knows your calling deserves a sustainable future, comment âLEGACYâ.
Letâs talk about how linking arms with me now could actually benefit you tremendously later.
Are you a consumer or a producer?
A spectator⌠or the one being watched?
Iâve been asking myself that lately, and the answer isnât as obvious as youâd think.
Iâm a sharer.
I put myself out there.
I talk about the products I use, the routines Iâm building, the tools I believe in.
But believe it or not, Iâm an introvert who is still learning to show up.
Iâm frugal to a fault.
I hang onto things âjust in case.â
Iâve had a scarcity mindset all my life that Iâm constantly trying to overcome.
Half of my strengths say âGirl, go lead!â
and the other half say
âStay quiet, think it through, donât risk being wrong.â
Itâs this constant tug-of-war inside me:
đš Do I play small or step out?
đš Do I wait for permission or create the moment because I know someone needs what Iâve got to offer?
đš Do I sit back and watch⌠or do I stand up and be seen so that others know theyâre not alone?
Hereâs what I do know:
There is a version of me who is DONE playing small in my own life.
There is a version of me who believes what she offers actually changes peopleâs lives.
There is a version of me who isnât afraid to be seen.
Sheâs fighting to take up more space.
So watch out! I think sheâs winning. đ
