Just a girl and a boy.

So young, so sweet, so beautiful and so handsome.

What else can I say?

My heart is full of joy and butterflies for their future.

And my eyes are overflowing with memories of a little boy that has grown up too fast. ❤️

No one talks about how exhausting it is to love your clients… and still feel maxed out.

If you’re a hairdresser, you know.

You give energy all day.
You listen.
You stand.
You create.
You serve.

And at some point, you start thinking:
“How do I make income that isn’t tied to my hands?”

That question doesn’t mean you’re ungrateful.
It means you’re growing.

I help stylists build income beyond service hours without quitting the chair.

That question lives in my heart and on the tip of my tongue.

I’m a helper.

Always have been.

It’s how I mother.

It’s how I work.

It’s how I serve.

And right now, I have to get honest with myself.

Caring for others is an honor, but doing it in a way that slowly drains your body, your time, and your future isn’t sustainable.

Time behind the chair or table has a limit.

Hands get tired.

Bodies change.

And yet the calling to serve doesn’t go away.

I don’t ever want to stop helping people, but at the same time, I need to build something that lasts.

Something that supports my lifestyle, creates income beyond my physical effort, and allows my impact to continue long after my hands slow down.

And maybe as you’re reading this, something in you is nodding quietly.

You might not feel the toll on your body yet, but you can sense that this pace, this way of carrying everything, won’t feel good forever.

Are you a consumer or a producer?
A spectator… or the one being watched?

I’ve been asking myself that lately, and the answer isn’t as obvious as you’d think.

I’m a sharer.

I put myself out there.

I talk about the products I use, the routines I’m building, the tools I believe in.

But believe it or not, I’m an introvert who is still learning to show up.

I’m frugal to a fault.

I hang onto things “just in case.”

I’ve had a scarcity mindset all my life that I’m constantly trying to overcome.

Half of my strengths say “Girl, go lead!”

and the other half say

“Stay quiet, think it through, don’t risk being wrong.”

It’s this constant tug-of-war inside me:

🔹 Do I play small or step out?

🔹 Do I wait for permission or create the moment because I know someone needs what I’ve got to offer?

🔹 Do I sit back and watch… or do I stand up and be seen so that others know they’re not alone?

Here’s what I do know:

There is a version of me who is DONE playing small in my own life.

There is a version of me who believes what she offers actually changes people’s lives.

There is a version of me who isn’t afraid to be seen.

She’s fighting to take up more space.

So watch out! I think she’s winning. 😉
