New hair trends tend to be very scary territory when you naturally have dry and textured hair. That skepticism is well earned. The popular new trends are usually centered around hair that is VERY different than ours. Sometimes, just giving something a try can lead to disaster.

So, I definitely understand when when someone with hair like mine seems apprehensive about the concept of solid shampoo. It really does seem like just another fad that "isn't for us." So when I stepped into this space, OUR HAIR was my primary focus.

My Dry Hair bar was the first shampoo I developed and it has pretty much turned out to be a love letter to my hair. I combined all of my educational resources with my personal needs and experiences. The result is a product that I'm not only very proud of, but I'm also surprised at how various hair textures have been benefiting from them as well!

My lotions are made with plant oils and butters that absorb easily and moisturize deeply, and won't clog your pores or leave you feeling greasy. No matter how many times you "clean" beef fat, rubbing it on your skin can feel heavy and runs the risk of breakouts. Yet, so many people swear by it above all else.

I still wholeheartedly hope everyone finds and enjoys the products that work best for them. I say this as an appreciative omnivore.
