As I'm getting Honey & Oats fully up and running, I've run into an unexpected delay with the establishment licensing required for me to offer massage services from my new space.

For the time being, massage appointments are temporarily on hold while I get the remaining paperwork completed and submitted. I'm hoping to have everything moving forward very soon!

In the meantime, my facials and relaxation/head treatments are still available to book through my booking site. 🤍

If you've been wanting to book a massage with me, you're also welcome to message me directly. I can get you on my list and reserve your treatment for a future date once I'm cleared to begin offering massage services.

Focused Relaxation is an immersive experience centered around the head, neck + shoulders, combining slow, intentional massage, soothing aromatics and calming sensory elements to help you disconnect, quiet the mind and deeply unwind.

If you love the relaxation associated with a head spa, this offers something a little different. Rather than scalp analysis or corrective scalp treatments, Focused Relaxation is touch-centered and relaxation-focused, with an emphasis on intentional massage, botanical elements, sensory relaxation and rest.

Depending on the experience you choose, your session may include warm botanical oils, soothing water elements, and a gentle hair cleanse + conditioning — or choose a completely dry experience.

We live in a world where almost everything becomes content — and I understand why. Social media is an incredible way for small businesses to grow, connect, and show people what we do.

But at Honey & Oats Therapeutics, I've made a conscious decision about what I want your time with me to feel like.

When you enter my treatment room, you are the priority — not the potential client watching from a screen.

Honey & Oats was created around experience, relaxation, nervous system regulation, and giving you a place to step away from the constant demands of everyday life. I want you to be able to fully settle in without wondering whether a phone is recording, whether a photo needs to be taken, or whether we need to pause a beautiful moment so I can capture it for social media.

So while you'll see glimpses of my space, preparations, products, education, and the little details that go into creating your experience, you probably won't see a constant stream of clients being filmed during their appointments.

That's intentional.

Once your treatment begins, my phone goes on Do Not Disturb. It plays our music, and my attention stays where it belongs: with the person in front of me.

If you're a content creator — or simply someone who loves documenting your experiences — you're absolutely welcome to bring your phone and capture your own visit. I'm happy for you to share your experience in whatever way feels right to you.

But you'll never be expected to become part of my marketing in order to receive care here.

There is nothing wrong with businesses that choose to create treatment content. This is simply how I've chosen to create mine.

Come in. Put the phone down. Exhale.
