Why does laser hair removal take more than one session?
Laser energy is absorbed by pigment in the hair and works best when the hair is in its active growth phase. But all of your hairs aren’t in that phase at the same time—so one treatment can’t target every follicle at once.
A series of treatments gives us the chance to treat more hairs as they enter that active phase. The number of sessions varies from person to person and depends on factors like the treatment area, hair color and thickness, and your individual response. Over time, treated hair may grow back finer and less dense.
Laser hair removal is a process, and results vary—your consultation is where we’ll talk through what may be realistic for you.

I’m getting ready to teach my very first mobile Skintology Academy class! 🧪✨
Students will become Germ Detectives through a hands-on UV experiment that shows how germs spread and why proper handwashing matters. We’ll also explore skincare science and simple, age-appropriate habits for keeping skin healthy.
Skintology Academy brings interactive science, hygiene and skincare education directly to schools, microschools, homeschool groups, co-ops and youth organizations throughout the East Valley.
