Dad’s have a way of being part of our foundation in life, and a beautiful part of being a father is learning how to be there for our kids and their friends as well. It’s no easy task to build up the young people around us when we are fighting the culture of confusion. We want our kids to be better than we have been, to reach higher, to love more, to live more, and to be free while living with responsibility and wisdom at the same time. This man in the first picture was a solid foundation for me, and though it was a long time before we fully appreciated one another, we learned to really care deeply for one another. Dad was a good man, and I believe he still is.. and until we meet again, love you always.
