What are some things you can be "Mindful" about? I'm always having interesting conversations with my clients about... - Posture Awareness! It's the little things that count and amazing changes will happen once you've mastered this!

My new treatment room! It's basic but it's all I need to function and let the healing begin! 🙌

“Don’t do deadlifts again.” Have you heard someone tell you not to do a certain movement again? Those words hold a lot more weight if that person has a “Dr.” before their name.

To be fair, to the average person, a “deadlift” is what I show at the beginning of this video. It’s an aggressive and testosterone-ridden movement.

The truth is that a deadlift is just a hip hinge with weight. We actually hip hinge thousands of times per day. From picking things up to leaning back and forth to getting in and out of cars… we need to perform this motion frequently. If you have ever had back pain, you quickly realize how often your lower back is involved in your day-to-day movements.

It isn’t necessary for the general population to learn how to deadlift the heaviest weights possible; however, it can be incredibly beneficial to learn how to hip hinge with SOME weight.

If you find that your back gets routinely injured while doing basic life tasks, then increasing the capacity for handling load and repetitive movement is crucial.

Implement the movements from this video and increase the strength, awareness, and mobility of your hips and lower back.

Don’t be afraid of deadlifts. Deadlifts are life.

If you want to dive deep into how to perfect all movements of your body, our BF Sale is still going. Get 20-28% off of our Programs and Bundles. They are lifetime access. Go to the đź”— on our homepage.
