As a beauty professional specialized in skin health, it is strongly suggested to let you know about some things you should avoid before and after the Hydro and Microdermabrasion procedures. This will insure for better results or to preserve the immediate results for a longer period of time.
1. Do NOT smoke: ni****ne stays into the system for 6 weeks and can refrain the benefits of the procedure.
2. Do NOT use exfoliators or any other creams 24 to 72 hours before your procedure.
3. Do NOT use heavy make up for at least 12 hours before your Microdermabrasion/Hydrodermabrasion treatment.
4. DO NOT swim or undergo facial waxing for at least 24 hours after your Microdermabrasion/ Hydrodermabrasion treatment.
5. DO NOT go to the sauna or have a botox procedure for at least 48 hours after your Microdermabrasion/ Hydrodermabrasion treatment.
6. DO NOT use exfoliators or any other creams for at least 24 to 72 hours following your treatment (in addition to before)
Patients who have recently had a Chemical Peel and Filler or Botox should WAIT 2 to 3 weeks before getting a Hydro or Microdermabrasion session.
