Instead of automatically reaching for brighter, I used color blocking to strategically add depth, earthiness, and dimension to this warm blonde.
By placing darker tones exactly where they were needed, I created contrast that lets the lighter pieces actually POP—without taking away the warmth and movement of the overall look.
It’s a good reminder that beautiful blondes aren’t always about more light. Sometimes, adding the right amount of depth is what makes the blonde shine. ✨

They are highly pigmented so I can turn the volume up or down!
I can even make two formulas for a shadow root darker to lighter! Give me that clear to dilute!!
And the shades can be mixed so I can add just the right amount of ash, violet or that perfect beige!!

I love a good highlight + lowlight situation. 😍
Because let’s be honest… the light needs the dark, and the dark needs the light! They give so much to each other!
Using Paul Mitchell color to create those highs and lows gives us dimension, movement, and a whole lot of “oooooh, look at that color!”
It’s all about balance, baby. 😉
