Today I had the joy to spend time with my favorite Aunt! My mom’s youngest sister Thelma - 83 yrs old! She has been a big influence in my life from the time I was born til this day 6/28/26. My youngest son and I surprised her and my heart was more full than hers. 😔. I cherish the original MENObeautes’ (authentic, vibrant woman who embraces midlife with grace, style, and beauty) women that have molded me into the woman I am today! I had a village raise me and they taught me how to demonstrate being a lady of elegance , grace, self respect, cherish life and others and most importantly be the best version of yourself. I love my village - all in their 80s (God is good) 🙏🏽

Thank you everyone for the amazing and heartfelt birthday wishes! This year was more special than last year, as I reflect on my birthday. Last year I had the flu that turned into pneumonia; I didn’t know I had either. Both Roland and I had the flu and was in the ER at the same time! (You know we do everything together 🤣)

The end result could have been different, but God saw fit for healing and grace. 🙏🏽

I thank God for his grace, blessings, my life journey, family, friends and y’all know my husband - partner! 🥰

This year was also one of my favorite birthdays - Friday the 13th. I’ve only experienced 3 in my lifetime 🎊

Several firefighters were hurt last night, during a 3 home fire in Newark,but he was hurt the worst and hospitalized. God saw fit to spare his life and let him continue to share life with us. We love you ❤️❤️
