Our 2028 journeys will be announced soon, and we can’t wait to show you where we’re headed next. But first, 2027 still holds a few remarkable opportunities to travel with Source Journeys.
Kick off the year amid the color and energy of Mexico City and San Miguel de Allende. Experience Morocco through its ancient cities, sweeping desert landscapes, layered flavors, and legendary hospitality. Travel in timeless style aboard the Eastern & Oriental Express through Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. Or venture into the raw, remote landscapes of Mongolia.
Four very different journeys, each with its own sense of place, pace, and possibility.

Source Travelers have taken in the sweeping views of Machu Picchu, walked through the ancient city of Petra and stood in the shadow of the Pyramids of Giza.
Machu Picchu and Petra are among the New Seven Wonders of the World, alongside the Great Wall of China, Christ the Redeemer, Chichén Itzá, the Colosseum and the Taj Mahal. The list was announced in 2007 following a global vote celebrating remarkable achievements in human history.
The Great Pyramid of Giza holds a distinction all its own. Built more than 4,500 years ago, it is the only surviving wonder from the original ancient list and holds honorary status alongside the new seven.
Which of the world’s wonders are you most excited to explore?

We’re always looking ahead to somewhere new, but some places are simply worth returning to.
Over the years, we’ve gone back to destinations like the Galápagos, Egypt, Tahiti and Antarctica, not because we’ve run out of places to explore, but because there’s still more to experience. A different season, a new route, another remarkable hotel or ship, or simply the chance to introduce a new group of travelers to a place we already know and love.
What place in the world would you happily return to again and again?
The itinerary might have an end date. The group chat usually doesn’t.
One of our favorite things to see is what happens after a Source journey. Facebook groups stay active, group chats keep buzzing, photos and inside jokes keep making the rounds, and travelers who met somewhere halfway around the world find reasons to get together again back home.
Sometimes that’s a house party. Sometimes it’s dinner. And sometimes the conversation inevitably turns to the important question: where are we going next?
That’s the Source family, and it’s one of our favorite parts of what we do.

If you’ve been thinking about traveling with Source, there’s one thing worth knowing: our email community hears about new journeys first.
Many of our 2027 adventures have already filled, including journeys to some truly extraordinary corners of the world. When a new itinerary is ready, our subscribers are the first to see where we’re going next, before we share it on social media.
Our groups are intentionally small, which means some journeys can fill quickly. If there’s a Source adventure in your future, the email list is the best way to make sure you don’t miss what’s coming next.

Three countries, one legendary train, and a journey through Southeast Asia that changes character at every stop.
We begin in Singapore before boarding the Eastern & Oriental Express for three nights through Malaysia, where days unfold between beautiful landscapes, incredible meals, and the unmistakable romance of traveling by rail. From there, we continue to Thailand, exploring the energy of Bangkok before heading north to Chiang Mai for temples, local flavors, and time with rescued elephants at an ethical sanctuary.
Singapore, Malaysia & Thailand with Source Journeys, February 6–16, 2027.

A trip together can be a chance to step out of your usual routine, try something new, and have a little more fun with each other.
And on a Source journey, the experience quickly grows beyond the two of you. Before long, you’re swapping stories over dinner, laughing with new friends, and sharing the day with people who started as fellow travelers and now feel like part of the adventure.
It’s quality time together, with a whole community around you making the journey even better.

One of the best parts of an extraordinary adventure is having someone beside you who will always remember it, too.
The early mornings, the incredible views, the unexpected laughs, and those moments when you look around and think, are we really doing this? Sharing an experience doesn’t just make it more fun in the moment. It gives you people to reminisce about it with for years to come.
And sometimes, the adventure happens a few thousand feet above the ground.

You might come to the Galápagos to swim with sea lions, walk among giant tortoises, and experience one of the most extraordinary natural places on Earth. But aboard a private Source Journeys charter, the days exploring the islands are only part of the story.
Our Pirate Party has become a favorite tradition, and as you can see, our travelers take the assignment very seriously. Costumes appear, cocktails are poured, and somewhere along the way a perfectly elegant Relais & Châteaux yacht gets taken over by a rather fabulous band of pirates.
It’s one of those nights that brings everyone together, gets a little silly, and becomes part of the stories we’re still laughing about long after the journey ends.

The more of the world you see, the harder it can be to find places that still feel genuinely unexpected.
Mongolia is full of them.
In the far west, golden eagles soar above the rugged landscapes of the Altai as Kazakh eagle hunters carry on traditions passed through generations. Across the country, nomadic families continue ways of life deeply connected to the land. And farther south, green valleys give way to the vast stillness of the Gobi, where desert dunes, red sandstone cliffs, and enormous night skies seem to stretch forever.
For travelers who have seen a lot of this beautiful world and are still curious about what’s out there, Mongolia offers something increasingly rare: the thrill of genuine discovery.
