The wrap up… everything that glimmers ain’t gold so don’t ever think just because something looks a certain way that a person hasn’t paid a price because nothing good worth having comes without a one.

When I’m tired I work through whatever it is that’s going on and find a way out of no way, but 90% of what I do doesn’t require physical labor. Why? Because I cleaned rooms at The Holiday Inn at 13 years old and promised myself that I’d do whatever it took to put myself in a position to be able to make my own decisions. I knew that would be my life, forever. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to be, but I was very clear about what I wasn’t going to be!

In all labor there is work so don’t very get it twisted. They aren’t going to GIVE you anything, but because I’ve had more wins than losses I put myself in a position to have choices.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but keep pushing. Your win is coming, but you can’t get there worrying, procrastinating and complaining. I promise you one thing, if you learn how to control your emotions you’ll control your money. Feelings are the enemy of facts so apply context to each and everything and know some things have nothing to do with you. Some people are fighting their own battles and you can decide if you want to a casualty or not. The choice is yours.

Missing my Piper!

I read this on her page and it made me think of my uncle. I’ve been up since 5:45 this morning and as tired as I am the only person I can think about is my uncle. On webinar, Sunday he said, “you will quit on you” when you’re not surrounded by people that have the same energy and drive to push yourself to your next level. That hit like a ton of bricks because it’s not just about money. Yes, money is important because we need it to survive, but it’s not money alone that drives me. It’s my younger self and on days when I’m in a complete stir, I hear my uncle. He didn’t mince words and he was a task master. I truly believe he was put on this earth for me. It seems completely arrogant and self centered, but he was well before his time. So talented, witty and had the best zingers to gather you like drapes, but he poured into me. He wouldn’t allow me to be less than my best and I was the runt of the bunch. He had way better “bases” to work with than me, physically, but they didn’t want it. They didn’t have the desire, drive or ambition to see their lives outside of not only that small town, but their own zip code. Moral of the story, looks fade. Your body will change. Make enough money and you’ll maintain your base.

The wrap up… it’s April, but it’s still a bit nippy. I had a mastermind with and on Jan 1st. Everything I wrote on my whiteboard I’m going for because these rates or a recession don’t scare me. I was raised in poverty. My life is a dream compared to that hot a** trailer. This cloak I’m wearing was half my Nana’s salary for a year and she took care of not only her children, but raised me and my brother. My number one goal is to be an example of what can be done when God uses anybody to help you become somebody. My uncle would always say, “my love is unconditional, how I spend my money isn’t!” Needless to say, I’ll be in Cali to make it shake and I’m going to work my set because I know most WON’T do what most WANT.

We’re all given a life we’re strong enough to lead. When it’s hard, remember why you started and don’t quit on you! 😉
