En el año 2017 la audiencia de Caracol TV en Colombia quedó extasiada con la presentación de Jéssica Jaramillo y Eduardo Escolar en el reality “A otro nivel”. Concursaron con la canción “El camino de la vida”, escrita en 1987 por el poeta Héctor Ochoa. En el jurado estaba K**e Santander, compositor de “Mi vida sin tu amor” que popularizó Cristian Castro. Se le veía conmovido mientras Jéssica y Eduardo desarrollaban el tema. También estaban Fonseca, intérprete de “Te mando Flores” y Silvestre Dangond, impositor de “Cásate conmigo”. La participación de Jéssica y Eduardo quedó grabada para siempre como una de las más vibrantes de todos los tiempos en competencias musicales. In my time away, I've been on a profound journey of self-discovery and healing. I've woven through the intricacies of grief, dedicated myself to my personal growth and healing, and focused intensely on my clients and our Thrive Hive community.
I'm immensely grateful for all Your support.
Life's a beautiful, complex tapestry. In the journey of finding clarity and my path forward, I've learned that feeling a mix of emotions is okay. It's possible to be sad by letting go and being scared of the unknown yet excited about moving forward. To be disillusioned by past experiences yet remain optimistic about the future. It's about embracing every emotion and every experience – the threads that make up the unique tapestry of who we are.
This journey has strengthened the importance of owning my narrative. Realizing that my dreams, wants, and needs are just as valid as anyone else's. Understanding that I'm in control of my happiness, not bound by others' emotions, expectations or timelines. Most importantly, I am learning that the only validation I need is my own and that reimagining ourselves can be messy. I've pondered what life's 'supposed to be.' Who decides what it should look like? Why compare our unique paths to a fantasy or someone else's story? We are the authors, artists, directors, creators, and stars of our lives. And yes, that's incredibly daunting but also exhilarating.
Every day, we're faced with choices. Choices about what we believe, what we stand for, what brings us joy, and what we're willing to risk. In these choices, we find our power – the power to reshape, rewrite, and redirect our stories.
So, here's to changing the channel, rewriting the book, and steering our lives toward our dreams. We may not have control over anything beyond ourselves, but we do control how we react and what we choose to embrace.
Let's continue inspiring, supporting, and motivating each other on this incredible journey. Prioritizing collaboration over competition, curiosity and compassion over judgment, and acceptance over resistance, we can create a community where everyone thrives. It's about celebrating our individual journeys while recognizing the strength we gain from being connected.
