The work to prevent sexual violence continues beyond April. As we celebrate 25 years of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), we recommit to supporting survivors and strengthening prevention in our communities.

Lai Mayo was so super excited to have this mom and daughter duo join us this year!
The rescue mission for some, hold many different meanings. And that’s ok…Your trauma may not have been what someone else experienced, but it was still trauma. And it was what you experienced!
The main thing is that you OVERCAME AND CONQUERED!

🎉 SB 836 SIGNED INTO LAW 🎉
Governor Abbott has officially signed SB 836, my bill to protect the privacy of sexual assault survivors, into law! This is an important piece of legislation that will ensure privacy when assault victims are seeking justice through the court system.
Thank you to everyone who helped to get this across the finish line. I am proud to have been able to carry this legislation, but all praise to the Lord! 🙏
