Reminiscing to a time when all my beauty knowledge came from studying looks in magazines, reading book (circa 2000-ish), inhaling anything from , including his book & Making Faces by ❤❤❤❤ and even having beauty in my night time dreams! Yup, even dreams. Before IG, FB, tiktok and Youtube I searched, studied, tracked down, read, absorbed, tried to copy and revered the limited information that was shown. And, I one day wished I could just peak behind the curtain and see the masters at work. In order to be noticed you had to exude individuality, no one wanted a copy of someone else's style, they wanted something new, fresh and original. We had to know names, formulas, products and be a walking encyclopedia of cosmetic reference. Now, 25+ years into this journey, I AM behind that curtain, I AM on those sets, I AM backstage. Who would've thunk it? Lil' ole me, rubbing elbows with the most elite actors, politicians, performers and entertainers. I am nothing but GRATEFUL🙏🙏
