DO:
• Brush gently twice daily with an extension-safe brush, always starting from the ends and working upward
• Sleep with your hair in a loose braid or low ponytail to prevent tangling and matting
• Use a silk pillowcase for less friction + breakage
• Keep your extension row area fully dry after washing
• Use salon-quality moisture + heat protection every single wash day

DON’T:
• Go to bed with wet hair
• Use drugstore products with sulfates or heavy alcohols
• Rip through tangles or brush aggressively near your attachment points
• Apply oils/conditioners directly onto bonds or beads
• Skip maintenance appointments

For real though, placing extension hair the right way is an Olympic sport in and of itself - no touchy until you see me cut the thread!

PSA: your curling iron does NOT need to be at 450° to give you good curls 👀

Fine, fragile, or color treated hair usually does best between the 280°- 350° mark. Thicker or coarse hair may need a little more heat, but cranking it to the max just means more damage, dryness, and fading.

The goal is always: the lowest heat setting that gets the job done!
