I just came across the following article in the news.
Do you know what you are putting on your skin and what's being absorbed into your body?

"One of the biggest beauty brands issued a voluntary recall for a facial treatment due to concerns that it may contain a cancer-causing chemical.

L’Oréal issued a recall for all lots sold in the United States of its acne medication Effaclar Duo, sold under the La Roche-Posay brand after an independent study found that products that contain benzoyl peroxide, like the recalled products, could create benzene over time, a chemical believed to cause cancer.

The test was conducted by Valisure, an independent laboratory, and found that "benzene, a known human carcinogen, can form at unacceptably high levels in both prescription and over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide products."
