This patient has been with Blu for years, and these photos are such a good example of why we don’t believe in rushing lip filler.

Her lips weren’t built in one appointment. We’ve treated her gradually, allowing plenty of time between fills and only adding product when appropriate. She has never needed to have her filler dissolved, and we’ve been able to maintain a beautiful result without continuously adding more and more product.

Spacing treatments appropriately, using conservative amounts, choosing proper placement, and knowing when not to inject can all help reduce the risk of migration.

But an important reminder: migration can still happen even when everything is done correctly. Every patient’s anatomy, tissue, metabolism, product history, and response to filler are different. There is no technique or timeline that can guarantee migration will never occur.

The goal isn’t simply bigger lips. It’s maintaining beautiful lips over time. 🤍
