“The bell of South Congregational Church, U.C.C., Middletown will ring continuously for eight and a half minutes to honor the memory of those lost due to brutality and to protest the death of George Floyd. Middletown residents are invited to kneel for eight and a half minutes wherever they may be.

South Church will be ringing the bell on the following days to coincide with the multiple funeral services scheduled for George Floyd across the country.
