I always say there’s just something about wedding days…that wedding day magic elevates your hair and makeup look EVEN MORE! 😍
Rachael’s trial was back in May of this year. We did a pretty look with neutral colors that enhanced her natural beauty and she liked it for the most part! After I followed up with her, she noted she would like more coverage on her face, no problem! On her wedding day, she also wanted more of a light golden shimmer on her lids - let’s do it!!
I easily made those changes on her wedding day - no second trial required, just honest communication from the client and a willingness from the artist to achieve the look! This is why I say it’s a dance between us to create your perfect look. 🥰
I made sure to show her the level of foundation coverage before setting her face to ensure she liked it before moving on. It’s these little things that make all the difference!
Her spray tan and even complexion also helped elevate her look for sure! As well as cleaned up brows. It all came together flawlessly, her eyes were popping, and she was THRILLED! 😍 a great success!!
This is why I say to trust the process when it comes to hair and makeup trials - it might not be “perfect” on the first go, but every trial is a success when it points us in the right direction. Then add that lil bit of wedding day magic?! And P**F - you look and feel like the best version of you!! 🎉

It always cracks me up when someone tells me it “must be so cool to only work weekends” or “how cute your little makeup job is”.
Sometimes it’s an honest dialogue but other times it feels like a back-handed compliment.
I’ve been a makeup artist since 2010, in the wedding industry since 2016, and have managed a bridal hair and makeup team since 2019.

The people in my life know the sacrifice that has come with building this and my loyal clients are some of my biggest supporters! And for that I’m forever grateful. 💕

33 years old today and it’s true what they say…your 30s are better than your 20s!
✨You’re more confident in your own body, even after having a child.
✨You’re established in the career you busted your butt for in your 20s.
✨You prioritize your health and well-being more.
It doesn’t come without its own challenges, but every year I get to experience more life, do what I’m passionate about, and show my son how to balance both a family and a career I’m proud of, I’m grateful.

Things we LOVE to see when we show up to work on your wedding hair and makeup services! We can make a lot work, but it does make things go a bit smoother when everything is laid out easily for us. 💃🏼
✨Natural lighting - a makeup artist’s bestie for perfect looking makeup every time.
✨A large room - especially if you have a team of 2-4 artists coming and a large wedding party, this is helpful so everyone can spread out and take up space without worrying about being all over everyone!
✨Table space - I’ve set up on a hotel bed numerous times, but having a solid space to set up without worry (and not too low so my back doesn’t give out) is always appreciated!
✨Different chair options - this helps different height artists as well as makeup artists typically needing a bit higher (think bar stool) while hair stylists prefer lower, low back chairs for easy access to your hair.
✨Easy access outlets - hot tools, airbrush machines, extra lighting all require outlets.
