HEY THERE! Thanks for visiting Bombshell Styles by Sydney's page. Its been a while since I introduced myself, so I figured id do a little get to know me 💞

The last few years have been BIG for me.

Built my dream house, married the love of my life, became a bonus mom and expanded both of my businesses!

▪️My husband & I eloped in the UP with our closest friends and family this summer & it was everything I could have ever dreamed of. Pc: kt creative

➡️ Fun fact- I actually ran out of time to fully do my hair on my wedding day because I was too busy doing everyone else's hair. So I threw some curls in it and called it a day. Funny how I create timelines and preach adding in extra time to everyone & totally bombed that on my own wedding day 🙃 oopppss.

▪️We have 4 beautiful kids between the two of us. Ages 8-12. They are all in sports- & it is my absolutely favorite thing to cheer them on from the stands. Between side by side rides, camping, beating them in spoons and raising pigs we stay pretty busy ❤️

▪️Bridal hair is actually my weekend side-gig job 👰‍♂ I do not do color/cuts- my passion is designing one of the kind styles & I absolutely LOVE it. Meeting so many different walks of life, diving into different cultures and of course all the girl talk wedding morning. So many of my brides have become friends! I am a girls girl thru and thru.

▪️My career job is I own a in-home group daycare in Middleville. Being apart of raising other peoples babies is such a blessing. A lot of kids cannot pronounce Sydney so they call me Neney and its my absolute favorite thing lol

▪️I love fall, decorating, traveling, trying new foods, experiencing new things and places with my family and nerding out budgeting! 🤓

I have been doing Bridal hair for 12 years now. I am based out of West Michigan but travel all over the state. Providing a FUN, professional, top notch experience for you is my only goal. Wedding planning can be stressful but choosing your hairstylist should not be ❤️

I have been a professional bridal hairstylist for over 12 years, I have seen 100s of weddings and I am here to remind you to ENJOY this chapter of your life. ENJOY being engaged. ENJOY finding vendors. ENJOY the chaos of it all because once it's done- it's done.

Things will go wrong but it will all be a good story someday. In my case- I was too busy doing other people's hair I ran out of time to fully do mine. So I just threw some curls in and called it a day. Was it perfect? No. Did it matter? Also no.
But pretty ironic that I am literally a bridal hairstylist and create brides timelines for their weddings and still ran out of time on my own big day 🤭

You absolutely do not need to go in to debt to have a beautiful wedding. We had our dream wedding for under a few thousand (and that included a week long vacation in Marquette).

I literally got my dress off of Temu for $121. AND FELT BEAUTIFUL!!! All of the wedding party dresses were $11-$28 from shein. Guys got their outfits from Amazon for under $50. All of the wedding flowers were from temu and we put it together ourselves for less then $30.

I started the day waking up with my fiancé and kids and had breakfast. Calm, no rushing just simple... Went to the nail salon with my bridal party and got pampered a bit. Drank mimosas while listening to some 2000 throwbacks with all my bestfriends and daughters. The boys went hiking up a waterfall! We rented a banquet room at a local pizzera and did a private pizza buffet and it was DELICIOUS! Plus great margaritas 🍹 Ordered 2 cakes from a local bakery that were so good. Went to a nearby casino for some drinks and fun! 🎰 & spontaneously ran into lake Superior with our wedding clothes still on!

I would not have changed a single thing ❤️
