Getting to know your hair now that it's being cared for in a completely different way takes a minute.

1. Always use less product than you think you need. In fact- wet your hair a bit more when adding things like Moxie mousse or curl and air-dry creams they will spread easier and further your results!
2. Always emulsify your shampoo and conditioner, they will spread better and you'll use less
3. Shampoo TWICE, that's correct 2 times. It doesn't take that much extra time as the first lather should be quick and the 2nd can sit on head while washing the rest of you
4. This line has incredible products that provide better skin, health and hair. Don't get caught up on sales and miss out on products you haven't tried. If there is a great deal, skip the shampoo and try the rest of the line you won't be disappointed!!
5. Record your progress. These products change skin and hair and only photos catch the changes over time that your eyes miss as you live the changes.

EMULSIFY! This is what your palms should look like when you emulsify with a DIME/quarter size amount of product. When washing your hair, don’t forget to emulsify by rubbing your palms together after putting the shampoo in your hand! Rub palms together until it turns white! Why? The reasons:

1) You want to emulsify the shampoo to
activate that Rejuveniqe Oil. You put the shampoo in your hand and then you rub it together until it is white, white!
2) it’s okay to run your hand under the water quickly to put a little water on it and then continue to rub!
3) It gives you better distribution all around the head rather than a blob of shampoo on the top of your head.

*Shampoo is applied to completely WET hair! Gently massage with the pads of your fingertips and work into your entire scalp. Both shampoos should be focused on the scalp... cleanse that scalp!

Always shampoo TWICE!

First wash you will not get suds...second shampoo you will get lots of suds, and for some who go longer between washes or have a ton of product in their hair you may need a third shampoo. Your hair is clean when you have a TON of suds!
If you’re not doing this, you are not washing correctly with MONAT! ✨

Follow with your Monat conditioner and also distribute between palms first then into hair!

I do leave my shampoo sit on my scalp while I do other things then I rinse and condition.
