Sometimes I have to remind myself that resting doesn’t make me lazy, slowing down doesn’t make me unworthy, and my value as a person is not tied to how much I can accomplish in a day.

I think a lot of us became β€œhigh functioning” because we learned how to keep going no matter what. To stay productive. To stay useful. To stay needed. To distract ourselves from our real feelings. But constantly performing at 100% is exhausting, and being human was never supposed to feel like a full-time performance.

If you’re in a season where you’re doing your best with the energy you have… that is enough🫢🏻
