Prior to operating my massage business, I spent eighteen years teaching accounting and related business courses at Great Lakes Junior College, Davenport University, and Northwood University. I have a CPA license and an MBA with a concentration in accounting from Central Michigan University. My philosophy has always been that college and university professors should have some practical experience in the fields that they teach. Because of that philosophy, I spent twenty-eight years in business as production manager, bookkeeper, and in various accounting positions, i.e. accounts receivable and accounts payable. I ran a family business, and my own tax and accounting business while teaching. I love animals - especially dogs - and I love to garden, raising flowers and vegetables.
