My client had a lot of residual warmth on her ends from a previous color, so I wet balayaged her ends while the root shadow processed for a more fluid looking end result.

My girl had not had her highlighted since last winter. She was a solid brassy blonde on her ends with 4 inches of dark brown regrowth. We used two levels of developers on her roots and ends to help even out her blonde, panels of lowlights to break up the color, and a root melt to blend out banding from previous color.

It’s now mid summer, so it might be time to get your toner refreshed to get more life and longevity for your haircolor. Between sun exposure, more frequent hair washing, and chlorine from the pool your toner is more likely to fade quicker. Do yourself a favor and use a product with uv sun protection, where a hat if possible and use color safe shampoos without sulfates. It is always a good idea to schedule a toner refresh 4-6 weeks out from your last color appointment. ✨
