In conversation today with two veterans of the 9/11 wars, the notion that Abbey Gate represents the end of the 9/11 wars came up. Does that notion resonate with anyone? if you fought in one of the 9/11 wars or anything connected to it, between 91/1 and would it be OK if you thought of that war as being over and today being the anniversary of the end?

I was honored as Veteran of the Game by the last Sunday. What made the day special was the fact that 31Dec is my Alive Day. 17 years ago my humvee was hit by an IED in Iraq.
