Happy February! We are feeling the love over here š„°š„°š„°ššš
Happy FIRST anniversary to Plexus! Im blessed to be one year out from getting the keys to this place and Im folding laundry and sharing some thoughts about my first year as a solo massage and energy healing business ownerā¦obviously, I LOVE it. I love having full agency to say yes or no to clients and treating them really well without anyone else to report to, or be compared to. I love being client-centered and not distracted by coworkers or the small office dramas that humans are prone to.
Im also dealing, just ok, with this ice storm and reschedules and necessary cancellations, and tax accounting, and this crummy part of the year where I just have to take everything as it comes. Im so so glad my office has power and heat and that I can safely make it in for those that are able to venture out.
Im also dealing, as we all are, with the economic realities of this political and humanitarian nightmare. All I can do is keep offering healing and rest and warmth, and I want to keep being a shelter for those fighting the good fight. Joy is necessary for survival.
I love you. Thank you. For what I hope will be the first of many amazing years working as a heart-forward healer. Itās tough out there, and until I see you again, may you be safe, may you be healthy, may you be happy, may you have peace.

some thoughts over tea- For many of us, school schedules are back in place this week! Yikes! It feels so sudden, and while school brings some grounding energy and structure to our day-to-day lives, it also adds stress as we all adjust to our new routines and schedules. So, Iām taking time this morning to schedule my own massages and self care.
You canāt pour from an empty cup. Choosing activities that fill your cup means youāre more able to show up as the best version of yourself for you and your loved ones. I want to encourage you to schedule in your rituals and take the time you deserve to breathe, relax, and renew your energy.

Happy Back to School Week! And Shout out to the teachers! And a spotlight on my favorite teacher- my husband Eric. When he isnāt busy helping me with the endless laundry and being my biggest cheerleader, heās teaching science to middle schoolers in Chesterfield county.
Hereās a cute shot of him sporting a cupping mark from my new hearts and stars cupping set! He was kind enough to let me practice with them before offering them officially. So, I am tickled to announce that hearts and/or stars are now a regular offering, along with the usual circles, for the cupping enhancement to any massage service.
