Instead of relying on the adhesive to cure through exposure to the surrounding environment, UV/LED systems use a specialized light to cure the adhesive during the application.

But here’s the important part: UV/LED doesn't mean maintenance-free, damage proof, or automatically safer.

Your natural lashes still have a growth cycle. Proper isolation, appropriate extension weight and length, correct product pairing, equipment use, and application technique still matter.

And when it comes to safety, your lash artist should always follow the manufacturer's instructions for the specific adhesive and curing system being used.
