Well conditioned hair = YES
Heat protecting product = YES
Heat on dirty, dry hair = NO! This will bake in the old producrt and dirt and cause damage!

FISHTAIL BRAIDS Separate the ponytail into 2 sections. Create a small section from the outer right side. Cross it over and add to the left side. Create a small section from the outer left side. Cross it over and add it to the right side. Pinch in the middle where the small sections cross to keep the 2 sections tight and separate. Repeat, taking small sections crossing over to the other side. Continue till you run out of hair.
