I've been working on something quietly behind the chair...
I've started a small vintage collection inside the studio - pieces I've found, loved, and couldn't leave behind.
Introducing
Kismet [edit]
vintage clothing, thoughtfully sourced
It's a mix of vintage and lived-in pieces that feel really aligned with the space and the people in it.
Nothing huge, just a small, rotating collection... but I'm really excited about it.
You'll start seeing pieces in the studio this week 🫶

🚧Construction update🚧
After a couple long weeks in our little studio, it looks like the worst is behind us. All the holes are filled back in and the heavy equipment is headed farther down 7th. That being said, the road remains blocked off for the time being. There is parking behind the shop, however it is limited due to lack of parking available on Main Street. The back entrance of the shop is open during business hours and you’re welcome to use that to avoid the construction zone out front. (Green door closest to the alley) I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we navigate this chaotic time ♥️
As many of you know, there will be some intense construction happening on 7th street this spring. Our 7th street business will still be operating during this time but will be making adjustments like this. This adorable shop is down the street from my own, and is an almost daily staple in my life. Take the time to watch this sweet video for their plans to continue to serve our community with as little disruption as possible.
🫶
My own shop will be having similar access issues, but I have plans in place to have rear access to the salon in the event that my front door will not be as convenient to enter.
