Hello All!
Spring is here 😁🌱🌿🪴☀️
The mandates have all been lifted for awhile now, thankfully. The majority of you have requested I stay with appointments so I have continued with them. I can also accommodate walk-ins as time permits. Waiting in your car is continuing as the waiting room isn’t open yet. It became a catch all for all the extra cleaning supplies etc for Covid and I need to address it. 🙄 It also eliminates any issues with personal masking choices as masks are optional. It will be open soon.
I am still adhering to sanitizing protocols with anything that touches you. Keeping us all as safe as I can is still my highest priority. Keeping you well groomed is also 💇🏻‍♂️😁

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your continued support. In these crazy times I’ve enjoyed the conversation and laughter more than ever. You’ve all been a source of friendship and strength with each visit. I appreciate each and every one of you immensely.

Enjoy the day! See you soon 💇🏻‍♂️😄☀️❣️

Thank you very much to all of my clients who took the time to vote.
2020/2021 has been a trying year for everyone with all the rules, regulations and mandates placed upon us in order to do our jobs, no matter the industry. I’ve been blessed beyond measure by your loyalty, patience and generosity throughout the past 19 months and receiving this has made my cup runneth over.
I appreciate you all more than I can convey.
Thank you again from the bottom of my grateful heart.

30 YEARS!!! 30!!!!

Saying that out loud seems a bit surreal. I’ve spent more than half of my life standing behind that chair!! I had no idea when I opened Gentleman’s Weekly what the future would hold. Time flies and life changes. Newlyweds. Children born and raised, grown and flown. Houses bought and sold. Friendships made, love lost, lessons learned. Countless highs and lows. The one constant for me in the last 30 years has been Gentleman’s Weekly. I could never have predicted where life would take me all those years ago, but I smile at most of the memories. 😊
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to all of you who have been a part of my journey and helped me along the way. Whether it was a short stint or a life long commitment, your presence in my life has made me into the person I am today. 💞
To my “babies” Tate and Tori, you are my life and reason for being and tremendous sources of pride. 💙💖
To my family, thank you for always being supportive in whatever capacity I need you. You are the best!! 💓
To the ladies, and Miles, who have worked with me over the years, I couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you. Thank you👏🏻💕
To my clients, regardless of how long you’ve been with me, you’re the reason I come to work with a smile each day. Thank you very much for your loyalty over the years, for your caring and concern during my injuries and, most recently, the pandemic. You made the last 13 months bearable. ☺️❣️
I appreciate you all immensely and look forward to the next 30 years 💇🏻‍♂️♥️

Hello All!

It’s been a crazy few weeks. Governor Sununu said we could start taking walk-ins again back in March. He hasn’t lifted any of the other mandates for this industry so masks are still required, cleaning between each person, fresh cape on each person, fresh smock on me, 1 person per stylist and staggered appointments so no one is coming or going at the same time. (Yes, that’s how the mandate reads) I don’t know how walk-ins can be staggered to prevent that. Thankfully all my appointment hours are filled each day so I don’t have the opportunity for walk-ins as yet.

The “safer at home” guidelines are set to expire May 7th, I believe. When/if they do I’ll decide what to do moving forward. Most of you have requested I stay with appointments. I’m trying to come up with a schedule for both, specific hours for each appointments and walk-ins. For the time being it’s appointments, unless I have time when you stop by. It has happened where I’ve had time, as many of you show up early for your appointments, which leaves some wiggle room for a walk-in after cleaning.

Thank you all for your patience as we navigate through each phase of this reopening process. It’s not back to pre-covid times yet, but I’m thankful I’ve been able to work through all the obstacles and continue to make a living.
We’re getting there...... let’s finish strong.
Kick this craziness to the curb and again go about life as we used to.... perhaps with a little more patience, understanding and respect for each other.

Thank you again to the best clients ever!!!

Hello All!
Spring is here finally! 🌱☀️💕
We’re also at the 1 year mark of the global craziness that we’ve all been dealing with. There seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, thankfully. Governor Sununu announced last week that we can now take walk ins...... BUT, he didn’t lift any of the other requirements/restrictions that we’ve been observing since reopening in May. Until he does, I’m continuing with appointments. The new mandate still reads that we need to “stagger appointments so no one is coming or going at the same time”..... 🤷🏼‍♀️
Thank you again for your patronage, patience and generosity over the past year. (And the 29 before! ) I appreciate each and every one of you more than I can say. It’s cliche, but “if you love what you do you never work a day in your life” ...... thankful I love what I do!!! 💇🏻‍♂️❣️

Stay healthy

Sincerely,

~Brenda~

Hello Everyone!

My phone issues are finally over so I’m able to respond to your calls and texts again. My quarantine is over as well, so life has returned to as normal as anything is these days. Thank you all for your concern and your patience in getting an appointment. I know I say it all the time, but I really do have the best clientele.

Take care and Thank you again

Hello Everyone, and Happy New Year!!

I hope your holiday season was a source of enjoyment and relaxation for you all, as different as it was, I’m sure. 🎄🎉🎊🌟

I spent the holidays with my daughter so I am currently quarantining as required. I am having issues with my phone but hope to rectify that today. I turned it on after traveling, heard all the pings coming in then the phone died. I have a love/hate relationship with technology 😁🙄
If you’ve called or texted, I haven’t ignored you, I just can’t get to them yet. I’ll be reaching out as soon as I have the capability.

I apologize for the inconvenience and hope to be returning all correspondence ASAP.

Have a great day, and I’ll see you soon. 💇🏻‍♂️😃

Edit
I have a new phone as of the 8th, but sadly I couldn’t transfer any of the info from the other phone. If you called or texted between Christmas and the 8th, they’re lost. I am finally able to answer calls and texts again. I’m very for the inconvenience. Take care and stay safe 💇🏻‍♂️😀
Thank You!!!

Hey All!!

9 weeks have passed since we were able to reopen. That’s the same amount of time we were closed. Crazy to think how sloooowwww the 9 weeks passed when we couldn’t work and how fast these last 9 have flown by. Thank You isn’t adequate enough to express how grateful I am for your continued support, patience, generosity and concern. I appreciate each of you more than I can say.
The newness has worn off, but the mandates set forth by the State have not changed since 2.0 in May. Appointments and masks are still required for the time being. I miss the walk-in, spontaneous aspect of pre-COVID but sadly we’re not back there yet. The backlog experienced in the beginning has subsided some so it’s not taking as long to get an appointment. You can call or text 672-8337 to set one up, or Messenger on Facebook. I’m doing my best to get everyone in ASAP 😀.
Thank you again for being the best clientele in Milford! Stay safe, stay healthy and stay positive. Better days are coming.
Have a great day!!! 💇🏻‍♂️😊🇺🇸❣️

Hey All!

First full week is done, and I cannot THANK YOU enough for your kindness and patience throughout this very different week. I’m overwhelmed and honored at your generosity, concern and desire to schedule. The hardest part has been voicemail. The box fills up as fast as I clear it, so I apologize if you haven’t been able to leave a message. You can text your number to 672-8337 (I ported my landline to Cel years ago so that is a Cel number) and I’ll call back or, If you’d like to stop by and leave your name and number I’ll call as soon as I am able that day.
When you arrive for your appointed time, please wait in your vehicle until I’m finished sanitizing and I’ll wave you in when ready.

Thank You all again for being the best clientele. It’s been a tough week at times, but you’ve all kept me smiling 😀

Hi All!

Day 1 is in the books 😀. The extra sanitation takes a bit more time, but it’s worth it to keep us all safe. The “fun” part was trying to keep my glasses fog-free 🤓. I’ve missed you all and it’s feels good to be back doing what I love! Thank you to everyone who came in today with the best attitudes, lively conversations and some really fun masks! We have to make the best of the difficult situation we find ourselves in, right? 😷🙃 I have to admit I was a bit nervous about going in, but as soon as the first person came through, my apprehension went away. Having my own parking lot to wait in while I sanitize after each client made it easy to wave the next appointment in when it was ready.
I apologize if you’ve tried to call and I’ve not answered. Leave a message and I’ll call back as soon as I’m able. I’m working on getting a website with online appointment capabilities. I appreciate your understanding and patience as we keep moving forward in this new normal.
See you soon!

Brenda 💇🏻‍♂️😀
