Mineral buildup can be a real pain, leaving your hair dull, brassy with a hint of green and veryyyy dry sticky ends.
We can spot this from a mile away.
I always recommend monthly demineralizing treatments and getting a shower head filter is a must!

I love when a client is realistic with their pictures. Especially after years and years of coloring their hair.
We don’t expect you as the client to know what you’re talking about, but it’s our job as the stylist to tell you what realistic, what’s not, and for you to accept that and develop a plan of action along with your stylist.
Keep an open mind and know that we want you to be happy with your hair and love what we give you, but it has to be achievable!

When a client says she low maintenance, you give her a low maintenance balayage with lots of dimension!

Adding in a low light for pops of brightness is one of my favorite techniques
You ever heard of the saying there is no light without dark? This is the perfect example..
The ONLY reason her color pops and appears to be brighter is bc the light pieces are next to dark pieces.. this makes the light pieces really POP! And is a huge reason why dimension is sooo important!

Obsessed with how this came out
She had about an inch and a half of her natural color, few inches of old color, some old highlights and in the back of her hair she had dark color on her ends.
Started off with a color melt, then we low lighted and balayaged and finished with a gloss.
