So,
it's been a while since I posted on here but, I used a product recently that I think needs to be blogged about. It's John Frieda's Luminous Glaze color glosser. My mother in law kindly gave it to me a couple of weeks ago, so I thought I'd give it a try. I don't particularly like John Frieda hair products but it was a freebie so I thought why not. Now, bare in mind this is supposed to be a conditioning glaze for blondes. It states and I quote "refresh dull blonde hair with a touch of fresh blonde color, silky texture and glistening shine. It's horrible! I followed the
instructions, left it on for three minutes and rinsed off. For lightened hair my hair is in pretty good condition and feels soft when I wash and condition it. This felt like I had taken Dawn dish detergent and washed my hair five times it it! It felt coarse, dry, and looked oddly brittle. I had a real battle trying to comb out the snags. I never, ever have that problem normally. I blow dried my hair and used my usual serum before flat ironing my hair. Now, it's summertime here, so pretty humid. I can usually prevent the frizz quite easily but my hair looked awful. It felt like straw and looked worse. I had to rewash it the day after and leave my usual conditioner on for ten minutes. Luckily I don't think any permanent damage was done but I wanted to warn anyone against trying this product.
Here's my review from 0-10, 0 being he worst, 10 the best.

So, as we get older our body chemistry changes. I just learned this the hard way. For several years I've used the same mud face mask about once a month from Queen Helene. I put it on and began to feel a little heat but thought nothing of it. After about five minutes it got quite uncomfortable. I go to my mirror and can actually see through the product and my skin is very red. I immediately rinsed it off, wherever the face mask product touched my skin it looked as I've been sunburned. Thankfully its subsided and i don't think theres any real damage. I did however learn a lesson...patch test cosmetics periodically before you use them. Heres the product..our physiology is always changing because of age, skin health and medications...never assume just because you have used something and not reacted that it will be fine the next time. 😳

So i bought a few new products today that I'm going to review/blog about... a foundation from Kat Von D, a contouring palette, an eyeshadow/blusher palette. Also Eos's new hand cream. I will have them up by tomorrow evening.
I dropped the ball on my blogging but I'm going to restart. Anyone got any questions, requests etc that i could address in my next blog? Anything health or beauty related goes!
Have any of you girls tried Younique Mascara? If so what did you think of it? Feedback appreciated

New product I've just tried and I love love love it...it does exactly what it states. I have naturally wavy hair that I like straight mostly. It smells nice too! My hair is wavy today too and I just used it so it doesn't frizz out on me. Just thought I'd share that...what products do you guys use to keep your hair frizz free? 🔙🔛🔜🌺
Anyone wear clip in extensions?? Actually it doesn't even have to be extensions...what's the best way to quickly remove semi permanent color. I have clip ins that are pink and I want to change them back to blonde...
