I once had this coworker, sort of an old cowboy, who used to reply to "How's it going?" with "Woke up on the right side of the grass again".
And as long as each day I am walking on that grass and not helping make it grow, I think that day is a gift from God. Even those crabby, miserable, "just want to hide under the covers 'cause everyone is a total plonker including me" days.
