The day has come. I said goodbye to my best friend. A guy who forgave me if I pulled on his mouth. A guy who didn’t care about my devastated ruined face. A guy who ran to greet me. Who could spend hours trying to groom me. A love like none ever, a loss that’s even harder. But with medical bills, ongoing treatments for the burns on my face that continue to grow, I had to let him go to a new family. A hurt so deep I’m not sure the tears will ever end. I love you Wolfie! This is not your fault, you are perfect, and kind, and smart. Your human is not. You did nothing wrong buddy. I’m sure you’ll make your new family very happy. I will miss you forever.

Still a work in progress but very excited how good these scars are looking! We have been doing microneedling and erbium laser treatments to help smooth out the texture in the nose area.
